The Numbers Game

One of the most important things to understand about concierge clinics has to do with the number of patients that are involved.  In concierge clinics, the number of patients that the doctor has can vary, but it will usually be in the range of 200-600.  Typical insurance practices have about 1,800 to 2,200 patients per physician.  The greater the number of patients a physician is responsible for, the greater the number of appointments he or she must have in a day, and that means shorter appointments.
