Sooner Rather Than Later

Concierge medicine clinics excel when it comes to appointments and waiting time.  This applies to the time until the first available appointment, as well as the time spent in the waiting room.  If you think you might be coming down with the flu, you’d like to be seen promptly, so a diagnosis can be made and properly treated.  In a traditional clinic, appointments are generally available 1-2 weeks out, or in a few days with someone who isn’t your doctor.  Concierge clinics, on the other hand, generally have appointments readily available within days.  In my clinic, patients should be able to get an appointment within 48 hours.  Furthermore, concierge clinics, including my own, have more flexibility in scheduling in-office visits, telephone visits, or video visits.  This is a much more convenient appointment structure.
