Pillars of Health 6: Alcohol-Part 2

Admittedly, none of these problems are running rampant.  We don’t see people developing colon cancer in their early 30’s after they started drinking at the age of 21, but over time, the cumulative damage from alcohol does increase those risks beyond what non-drinkers experience.  These risks must be taken into account when we consider evidence that certain types of wine may be heart healthy.  This is an area where people need to evaluate the evidence and make the decision that they are comfortable with, being aware of the risks.
