Pillars of Health 6: Alcohol-Part 1

About 65% of Americans 21 and older drink alcohol in some amounts, whether it is rare or infrequent, or on a regular weekly basis.  It is a part of many cultures, and is therefore socially acceptable, at least when not used heavily, but is nonetheless risky.  The problem with alcohol is that it is carcinogenic.  It has been linked to head and neck cancers, esophageal cancer, liver cancer, breast cancer, and colon cancer.  There is also concern that even small amounts of alcohol are damaging to the brain.
