So, What Should I Do?

I’ve given you some information regarding the different types of exercise we can do, and given you some basic information about how exercise helps us (I’ll give you more information in the coming days about that).  Now, the question comes down to what should you do for exercise?  I think you should do what you enjoy.  If you like walking, walk.  If you like riding a bike, get on your bike and ride.  If you’d like to see some improved strength, start lifting weights.  Do what you enjoy, or what you expect will provide a specific benefit you are looking for.  If you get to a point where exercise becomes a chore, change things up a little bit.  For example, if you’re walking and its becoming difficult to stick with it, find a local 5K race and enter it.  You’ll walk the course, but you can start training for it.  That sometimes helps to keep you on track.  Tomorrow, I’ll share with you my exercise journey.

Remember: before starting an exercise program, talk with your doctor first.
